You had a traumatic childhood.

I understand.

I had one too.

I’ve learned to be grateful for it.

It brought resiliency early on.

It taught me how to change and adapt.

At first it was for the sake of survival and to avoid pain.

But then it became a tool to learn and grow.

It became my super power.

It became my source of curiosity and joy.

I learned to seek change and challenges.

It taught me the power of forgiveness and letting go.

It showed me that we really can choose our attitude.

It helped me to feel in control when everything around me was in chaos.

It helped me to become a dreamer,

To believe in something better,

To create anything I wanted,

One minute, one hour, one day at a time.
